With soft Spring colors, decorative floral relief details and rosy cheeks, the vase is a superb contemporary interpretation of Scandinavian folk art - a throw back to Wiinblad's original work. Using the artist's own drawings for the gentle facial features and even the pattern on the dress design, there is an authenticity and a nostalgia about these vases which makes them so very likeable.
