In light of recent developments surrounding the Covid-19 virus, both locally and internationally, we wanted to reach out to our customers personally to update them on how we are proceeding during this tough time.
Rest assured, as the situation continues to evolve we will be adhering to any government directives that are issued and will keep you notified if any of those impact your experience at Apartment51.
We have already instituted a variety of measures to ensure our retail space complies with the UAE standards in order to protect our staff and our customers, but we would like to update you on the behind the scenes aspects of online shopping.
The two major aspects of online shopping that we would like to highlight are our warehouse and courier services. Our warehouse is run by Agility and they have implemented a stringent series of measures to safeguard the environment and products in line with government recommendations. Daily checks, deep cleans and disinfection stations are in place throughout the facility and every one entering the area is screened for temperature fluctuations and possible symptoms.
Similar precautions and preventative steps have also been taken by our courier partner. They have put any staff recently returned from a restricted country on 14 day leave, facilitated company-wide training on combative techniques and hygiene standards and also conduct daily screenings on their staff.
We know many of you may be spending a lot of time at home currently and if you would like to take the time to shop at Apartment51, we have ensured you can do that safely. We know how difficult this must be for everyone and we want to work together as a community to overcome this situation.
